A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. EnotecaVinoNostro on VanNessAve in TheCite is the retail outlet of ToscoImports and one of my favorite sources of Italian wines. They have one of the better selections of Val d'Aosta wines.
SandroFay is one of my favorite Valtelline producers. The Bianco is a rather rare beast as there is not much in the way of white varieties in the Valtelline. The Incrocio is hardly planted there at all and Fay may have the only planting there. It is a cross developed in the 1920's by Manzoni at Conegliano, a cross of Riesling Renato (Rhine Riesling) X PinotBianco.
