WTN: Domaine Huet Cuvée Constance 2009

Lockdown Wine #17. Gold, with a slight green tinge. Ripe, ripe mango and pineapple on the nose. Some smokiness. Floral. Same on the palate. Dried mango, candied fruits - pineapple, orange. Marmalade. Canned peaches. Unctuous. Very sweet, but a fair amount of acidity to cut through it. Very long, impressive finish. Excellent!

Deserved the use of the Riedel Sommelier Sauternes glass. Didn't pair with anything. The wine was the dessert.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.

One of the great wines of the world. In fact, when it comes to dessert wines, the couple of Cuvee Connies I've had rank at the very top. And every vintage is immortal, best I know. Like, drink between now and forever.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
