Roman pulled this from his stash last night:
1. Qupe Roussanne BienNacidoHillside Estate/SantaMariaVlly (13.0%) Robert N.Lindquist/SantaMaria 2011: Med.dark gold color; beautiful honeyed/honeysuckle/Rouss strong toasted hazelnuts/nutty/oxidative some toasty/Fr.oak quite complex old Rouss nose; fairly tart very strong nutty/toasted hazelnuts very rich/lush/mouthfilling very strong honeysuckle/honeyed/honeycomb/Rouss some toasty/Fr.oak very complex flavor w/ slight bitterness; very long/lingering very strong honeyed/Rouss strong toasted hazelnuts/nutty very complex somewhat tart finish; a beautiful example of a fully mature Calif Rouss; the slight bitterness suggests it should be drunk up.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Bob continues to make one of the best Roussannes in Calif. This was one of the best I've had.
