WTN: Carlisle Compagni-Portis WW '18....(short/boring)

Cracked this last night from my recent Carlisle shipment:
1. Carlisle Compagni-Portis SonomaVlly/SonomaCnty WW (13.5%; Plntd: 1954; GWT/TrousseauGris/Riesling; 150) 2018: Med.gold color; strong fragrant lychee/GWT/fairly subtle floral/Mango/R slight mineral lovely nose; fairly tart/tangy strong lychee/GWT/slight cheap hair oil slight mango/R/floral totally dry but not austere bit mineral rather subtle/understated lovely flavor; very long/lingering subtle/lychee/GWT/floral/mango/R slight mineral balanced finish w/ trace of bitterness; quite a lovely expression of a subtle/underttated/quiet GWT yet still w/ plenty of flavor and none of that in-your-face hair oil GWT character; more like an AltoAdige or Sudsteirmark GWT than Calif; quite a pretty white that should put on weight over the next few yrs. $26.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Mike is (rightfully so) highly regarded for his Zins & Syrahs. But I don't think he gets the recognition he deserves for his whites. I shoulda bought more.
