WTN: Chateau d'Issan 2006

Lockdown wine #10. Very dark, opaque, youthful. Classic Bordeaux nose-cedar, blackberries, blackcurrants. Same fruits on the ripe, sweet palate. Fairly dense, but already very soft. No tannins to speak of; acidity providing the backbone. Juicy. Turns a bit leafy on the finish. Medium length. Rather nice, standard Bordeaux that is good to drink now.

With leftovers - hamburger and bbq pork ribs.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
