This wine, the 2016 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe Chateauneuf du Pape La Crau was at an interesting stage tonight. Definitely not closed down but not maybe showing all it has, there was a lot of spice and Grenache character but no obvious secondary flavors which is understandable. I'm just trying to maintain some vinous excitement in my isolation and this fits the bill.
I'll try a Clos du Pape 2016 soon. Huge potential here.

Well that's certainly a way to maintain excitement. The VT is a perennial favorite of mine.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
