WTN: Take me to the Rivers

2012 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
Japanese salted plum and iodine, Japanese salted plum and iodine, and Japanese salted plum and iodine. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate iodine? I could also have summed this up another way: relentless ripeness + low acidity = boring. In fact, worse than boring. Couldn't finish a glass so the camellias drank it.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

I'm not fond of iodine in my pinot noir, either.

I asked the waiter for iodine, but I dined all alone."

2012 was a very ripe vintage in much of the Sonoma Coast.

The 2012 Kutch Falstaff I had the other night was ripe, but did not go as far as your wine.
