Nearly a year and a half since my last bottle, but the wine is still in that lovely early maturity window, with ample fruit, but earthy and spicy complexity joining the party. Unfortunately it’s my last bottle, as the fruit/tannin balance (and yes, there is definitely tannin) is dead center, so the wine can go quite a while longer. Would have liked to follow it for five to ten more years.
