WTN: Chateau de Fuissé Jean-Jacques Vincent Julienas 2014

by Jay Labrador » Sat Mar 28, 2020 8:16 am

Lockdown wine #5 and the first dud. Rusty/orange meniscus. Earthy, herbal, fairly full-bodied for a Julienas, but very high acidity. Unbalanced. Drink up if you still have this vintage. One foot in the grave, and the other foot about to step in it as well.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.

Too bad. We recently tasted through a lot of Bojos--haven't had this house myself, but a '14 Dutraive was pretty great.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
