WTN: Jean Vesselle Extra Brut

Lockdown Wine #4. Nearly halfway through, so I thought champagne would be appropriate. I find Jean Vesselle's wines always a category up from what it says on the label. So this Extra Brut feels more like a Brut. Light gold, rather rich on the palate. Lemon and sourdough. Not very complex, but the price is very good here and it was on sale when I bought it. Decent enough with pasta with scallops and asparagus and a lemon-olive oil and caper sauce.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.

Nearly halfway through what? Do you know something the rest of us don't?

Oh, sorry. Nearly halfway through the lockdown period here, hopefully, anyway.

I assumed as much. Although I don't know about the Philippines, but it seems that elsewhere the announced lockdown periods are only estimates and thus far have mostly been too conservative, so they get extended.
