WTN: Dunn Napa Valley Cabernet 2006

First wine of the lockdown - Very dark, youthful. Plum, black olive, balsamic note on the nose. Sweet, sweet, ripe plum and black cherry. Black olive. A touch jammy, but not overly so. Sweet spices. Very soft and juicy. Tannins all disappeared, but there's enough acidity to keep it all in balance. Good length. Very attractive now, but has room to develop more I think. Not bad with grilled cheese and tomato soup.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.

Nice one. And what red one doesn't go with grilled cheese and tomato soup?
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
