WTN: Drinking Well in Isolation

by Jim Grow » Mon Mar 16, 2020 4:20 pm

My wife and I live in virtual isolation already but since we are both over 70 are staying mostly on our property. Last nite I opened a 2016 Pegau Res. as a treat for our self-induced isolation. It tasted just as I thought it would with plenty of rustic barnyard notes and sour cherry with elevated but enjoyable tannins. More ruby/purple than black in color, I have 5 more so I could justify the experience. Maybe it's time to dig into my 2000 Bordeaux.

Welcome to the forum, Jenna! What are some of your favorite Bordeaux? I used to love a bunch of them, but they're mostly out of my budget range these days!
