Tried this last night w/ my BarBQue pork:
1. Neyers Syrah Cuvee d'Honneur HudsonVnyd/NapaVlly (14.1%) 2005: Med.dark color w/ some bricking; strong c-c/black olive tapenade/some black pepper some blackberry/Syrah/spicy bit toasty/oak quite complex nose; quite tart/tangy strong c-c/Carneros Syrah/black olive tapenade rather roasted/Rhonish/smokey light blackberry/Syrah bit toasty/oak complex flavor w/ light gentle tannins; very long/lingering quite Rhonish/roasted/smokey strong Carneros Syrah/black olive tapenade/black pepper complex finish w/ light smooth tannins; a lovely very Rhonish/c-c/Syrah that seems o be losing a bit of fruit.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is a wine that was made by EhrenJordan whilst he was with BruceNeyers. The Neyers label is now owned by SutterHome and I have not tried any recent ones. This has always been one of my top Calif Syrahs.
