WTN: Vote for Berne!

Two more from last weekend:

2018 Frédéric Berne Beaujolais-Villages Lantignié Granit Rosé Gamay
First Lantignié that I can recall having. Floral nose with spicy dark cherry fruit and forceful body. Fleshy, and shows an alarming amount of kirsch on first pour but it doesn't get stronger with time in the glass, it pulls back. Not one to hold but a joyously big little wine for $15 and the coming year.

2017 Domaine de la Denante Saint Véran Les Maillettes Chardonnay
Even better than the last bottle, presumably because this bottle was cellar cool but not refrigerated. Mildly exotic orange blossom fragrance lifts minerally chardonnay typicity--clean and distinctively pretty. I love the '17 vintage in this part of the world.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
