2015 Domaine Robert Arnoux / Arnoux-Lachaux Bourgogne Pinot Fin - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (2/18/2020)
Red fruit, floral, excellent balance, and that extra depth that a good Bourgogne gets from a top vintage. There's plenty of depth and structure to support short to medium term aging. Of course drinking now is very enjoyable.

Remember tasting his wines long ago in Burgundy, there were very soft and silky compared to others and they stood out for that fact. IIRC, the winemaker-proprietor is not Robert Arnoux but his son-in-law. Bizarrely, I ran into him in Portland OR a year later, leaving a restaurant we were arriving to. "The son-in-law!", I exclaimed, pointing at him. Yes yes indeed, and we all had a laugh. Still don't know his name. :)

Well, as I said, it was long ago. Over 20 years now.
