2014 Lemelson Vineyards Pinot Noir Chestnut Hill Willamette Valley
Speaks with a softer voice than it did last April, but no less easy to understand and the clear winner over the Enfield Chalone. Raspberry fruit with sweet green herbs (parsley), raw beet and canned tomato. No secondary development yet. Good, but not sure if that has both the fruit and structure for a long-term hold.

2015 Enfield Wine Co. Pinot Noir Antle Chalone
Medium pomegranate red color. Monochromatic with strong acidity that never comes into balance with the weaker fruit.

Clearly we have radically different palates regarding the Enfield wines. I love them, and you seem to dislike them all.

The tempranillo was empty, I can't imagine anyone loving what I found in that bottle. Nor, to be honest, this one. When was the last time you had one? I saw your note from, I believe, 2017 and it bore no resemblance to this--I'd have liked your wine. A recent note by someone else, however, is in total synch with what we found in this bottle.
