2016 Failla Syrah Estate Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Fort Ross - Seaview (1/21/2020)Fabulous young Syrah from Failla. The balance of dark fruit, meaty undertones, mineral backbone and firm tannins promises a long development and a very promising end result. It's still fun to drink now, but I think there's too much to gain with patience. Hold!

Still haven't had a Failla but for the really excellent chardonnay we enjoyed in Hawaii. But it's one of those names that thanks to your raves I paid attention to.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
