WTN: 2014 Sandlands Trousseau

by David M. Bueker » Mon Jan 20, 2020 8:59 am

2014 Sandlands Trousseau - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (1/20/2020)
Last summer I opened a bottle of this that i had misplaced. I thought it was my last one. I was wrong! Given the short time span between the two, this was virtually the same as the last - a lovely blend of savory, refreshing and tart fruitiness. Light bodied and with brisk acidity, it was well suited to our dinner of Indian daal and garlic naan.

Interesting, sounds tasty
Seems like several CA producers are making Trousseau now (Arnot-Roberts is only one I've had)

But where's the Poulsard? :)

Somebody notable planted it. Now I have to remember who it is.
