2016 Kutch Chardonnay Sonoma Coast - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (1/11/2020)Jamie Kutch makes excellent Pinot Noir, but I think his true gift is with Chardonnay. Crisp apple, lemon, petrichor and a tiny touch of back end spice are carried on a wave of fresh acidity. Medium weight yet quite long, it has the depth for mid-term aging, if I can keep my hands off of it.
