Tried these two over the last week w/ Susan:
1. PierreBoniface LesRocailles VieillesVignes Ad'OP: Vin de Savoie (100% Jacquere; 11.5%; HandPickedSlctns) St.Andre 2018: Light gold color; rather fragrant/alpine flowers rather mineral/stony rather attractive nose; quite tart/lean/minerally/stony light floral/alpine flowers/columbine bit citric/lemony somewhat lean flavor; long quite tart/tangy/mineral/stony/steely/metallic light floral/alpine flowers finish; pretty classic lean/steely Savoie Jacquere but a pretty white. $24.00 (AV)
_____________
2. Jean-Francois Quenard Chignin Ad'OP: Savoie (100% Jacquere; www.JFQuenard; 11.5%; CharlesNealSlctns) Jean-Pierre et Jean-Francois Quenard/Chignan 2018: Light yellow color w/ tiny bubbles; very ragrant/floral/carnations/alpine flowers bit stony/mineral very lovely nose; very tart/lean/lemony/tangy some floral/carnations quite stony/mineral/grapefruity bit eviscerated flavor; very long very floral/alpine flowers/carnations rather stony/mineral fairly lean finish; very classic Alpine white but more interesting than most Jacqueres. $17.00 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Both of these were pretty classic Savoie Jacqueres. I slightly preferred the Quenard because of its stronger aromatics.
