WTN: The Forcini will be with you, always

2016 Once & Future Wine Zinfandel Forcini Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley (12/17/2019)
Bright red fruit on an elegant frame reminds me more of the old Ravenswood wines than almost any of the other O&F wines. It conveys a great deal of flavor while never being heavy.

This is a wine I actually have!!

And what's more I tasted it last month in Joel Peterson's session at AWS. There were many wines and not hurried notes on this wine say just berries & raspberry.

Peterson said the Forcini vineyard is 100% Zinfandel planted in 1904

He also gave a retail price of $38, which works out at today's poor GBP rate at £29, so it's a bargain from The Wine Society at £24 including wine tax + duty plus 20% VAT levied on all.

(BTB - I would find it useful if you'd give the name and vintage of the wine in the subject line rather than a pun. I almost missed this, but Forcini rang a faint bell)
