2012 Ridge Lytton Springs - USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (12/13/2019)
I keep opening a bottle of this every December. Last year it was somewhat sullen. This year it had started to wake up. There is still a dense core that has not opened up, but the edges are showing some of what is to come. Deep berry fruit and clean, moist earthiness are supplemented by the expected Ridge spice. I look forward to where this wine will be next December!
