2012 Lacourte Godbillon Champagne Brut Millésimé - France, Champagne (12/8/2019)At a Champagne event, my wife and I liked this so much we had to sample it three times. The depth and richness was notable, and the palate breadth very surprising for a Champagne raised without the use of cask. Fruity and savory, it was a clear “buy”, as my wife issued the coveted “wow” not once, but twice when tasting this.
