Cracked this new arrival over the weekend:
1. Carlisle PetiteSirah SonomaCnty (14.9%; 150 cs) 2017: Very dark/near black color; very strong blackberry/boysenberry/PS slight herbal/licorice rather toasty/oak slight earthy/rustic bit alcoholic nose; soft rich/lush strong blackberry/boysenberry/PS/bit licorice some toasty/smokey/oak rather rough/tannic/rustic flavor w/ some rough/hard tannins; very long strong blackberry/boysenberry/PS/ripe bit licorice/pungent rather toasty/oak finish w/ ample chewey tannins; a straightforward tasty PS w/ lots of ripe fruit at a good price. $29.00

A wee BP:
1. This is Mike's basic blended PS. It was a pretty tasty PS but a bit on the rough/coarse side of PS. I was just left wanting a little bit more interest.
