Tried this last night from Enoteca Vino Nostro:
1. Belisario Cambrugiano DOCG: Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva (13%; ToscoImprts) Matelica/Marche 2016: Med.dark gold color; quite fragrant floral/gardenias/dandelions light stony/chalky/perfumed talc quite attractive nose; lightly tart fairly rich/lush slight tangy/metallic/stony/chalky rather floral/gardenias/dandelions quite attractive flavor; very long quite floral/gardenias/dandelions light stony/chalky finish; quite a pretty drinking white & one of the better Verdicchios I've had. $21.00 (EVN)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Just got a new shipment, including a Loisen Pannetone, from EnotecaVinoNostro, one of my favorite sources for Italian wines.
Generally I find Verdicchios a bit on the dull side. This one was not. Not a profound wine, but very pretty drinking.
