This came in my PrimaIlConsorzio shipment ystrday:
1. Dom.St.Germain Ferrari St.Bris LaCanne AC: St.Bris (100% SauvBlanc; 12.5%; H.MercerImpts/LA) 2018: Light yellow color; attractive SB/melony bit herbal/stony/chalky almost Chablis-like/chalky nose; fairly tart/tangy/lemony some SB/stony/chalky/herbal/bit melony rather mineral/bit metallic crisp/bracing flavor; very long rather steely/mineral/stony/chalky some SB/herbal/melony almost Chablis-like quite attractive finish; speaks strongly of Chablis/chalky w/ a SB accent; quite a nice minerally white at a very good price. $16.00 (PrimaIlC)

Several years ago this wine was in our area at $10 a bottle. Great stuff and we went through a lot of it--but then the next vintage came. Harsh, screechy. Sounds like the '18's back in the zone and still quite fairly priced.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
