British Columbia Wines

Good article sent to me by Bill featuring one of BC's greatest wineries by far, Blue Mountain. Fun read, and a picture that is probably taken from the approach to the winery--one of the prettiest wine-growing areas ever and a great reason all by itself to visit the OK Valley.

Have visited Okanagen Valley vineyards, but in the UK the Wine Society have a Riesling and a Chardonnay from Little Farm Mulberry Tree Vineyard in the Similkameen Valley, which seems to be valley just to west of Okanagen which we must have driven through and I never heard of it before.

Peter, I had the Little Farm Smilkaneen Chardonnay at one of downtown Van's best restaurants. It was excellent. There are essentially two ways in and out of the OK--the Smilkaneen is located on the highway that brings you in just south of Penticton. If you didn't travel that way, you would have missed it.
