Crazy WindGap sale by Garagiste today

Mix of many things: pinots, syrah, grenaches. Looked at several, all sold out in an hour or less. The jewel of the bunch, the Santa Cruz pinot noir was sold out 6 minutes after the offer arrived in my inbox.

Anyone get any?

Neither did I until it was (mostly) too late. I hardly ever buy from them, don't trust Jon's pitches one bit. But occasionally he sells something I like (earlier this year, Calera pinots and chards) so I've stayed on his mailing list.

Well, considering that I have 70 bottles of Wind Gap in the cellar, I should be glad I missed it.

I'm in for six of a '13 Grenache. Seales? Sceales? Something like that. Only one I got to. Most of the offers went out around 11 this morning. I didn't see them until early afternoon when of course it was too late, then mysteriously a few more came up while I was sitting here.
