Anybody else in on it? I wanted to buy a ton, but managed to keep it semi-reasonable.

Which wines? I got the following:

1 1995 Donnell Merlot
1 1995 Rancho Salina
2 1994 Sangiacomo Merlot
2 1997 Estate Merlot
2 1991 Cooke Zin
2 1994 Cooke Zin
1 1996 Cooke Zin
1 1993 Monte Rosso Zin

Somehow I ended up with five bottles of Merlot. Go figure. The 1994 Old Hill was in my cart, but by the time I got to the purchase screen it was gone.

Really thinking that a tasting is the way to handle at least some of these.

1991 Gregory Vyd Cabernet
1994 Icon Syrah
1991 Pickberry Merlot
1995 Rancho Salina
1993 Cooke Zin
1988 Dickerson Zin

The Monte Rosso and many of the other Zins were gone by the time I got there (which was, like, 30 seconds after the email hit my inbox!), but the prices seemed reasonable enough to try some things I wasn't necessarily looking for...

I got there 20 seconds before you did, and still stuff was gone. I actually did not wait for the email. I started refreshing the Once & Future page from about 11:57 AM. Still not fast enough.

It's like when I was a teenager, trying to buy U2 tickets over the phone, hoping that all the manual dexterity I had built up from years of arcade games would let me redial Ticketmaster (or whatever it was) on the rotary phone faster than all my friends...
