1985 Krug Champagne Brut - France, Champagne (2/4/2007)
As always, Krug is Krug, with great depth of flavor and palate richness. There's a deep apple aroma that lifts after some time in the glass to reveal some citrus elements, but never quite reaches the heights that this wine revealed about 3 years ago. Still, it's delicious, with an amazingly long finish, and a fine accompaniment to our roasted pork loin with sherry cream sauce.

I do love drinking Krug, but I think I prefer it just a touch younger.
