2007 R. López de Heredia Rioja Reserva Viña Bosconia - Spain, La Rioja, La Rioja Alta, Rioja (8/27/2019)By the glass pour from a freshly opened bottle...
This is a baby, but clearly well formed, with a proper balance of dusty red/black berry fruit, spice and cedar tones from the oak, and a lingering finish of fruit and dusty herbs that echo a trip down a dry country road. It's already enjoyable, and could be monumental with some cellaring.
