2015 Wind Gap Wines Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
So: medium body--that's good. Raspberry-cherry fruit with lots of savory character and herbacesousness--weird for Sonoma in 2015 but hey, I'm fine with that. Finish tastes like Jolly Rancher Watermelon candy--this is not okay. I HATE JOLLY RANCHER WATERMELON CANDY.

Disgusting. Ditto Jelly Belly's watermelon flavored bean. There's a huge disconnect between real watermelon, which I love, and fake watermelon, which I clearly don't. This wine tastes like fake watermelon. And I bought a case! Woe is me!

Not even close to anything I loved about the '13.

Pax was always about letting the vintage speak. He also had some vineyards that were very different from each other. The Sonoma Coast blends could change year to year based on which lots ended up in the blend.

I like watermelon flavored jolly ranchers. :(
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
