2013 Betz Clos de Betz...........Wash. State.....this is our second bottle and it just gets better. a Bordeaux blend with tannins that are definitely smoothing out and fruit that is still dominant, mostly black and red fruits and great balance....I think my wife had THREE glasses! I might have one more bottle! I may have reported on this bottling previously.

I like their wines...a lot.

Have not decided whether I prefer their Syrahs or their Cab/Cab blends. So I buy both!

Love seeing more posts on the wines of my home state. I was seriously concerned when Bob sold his winery to that South African couple, but so far haven't seen any complaints. David, which was Bob's last vintage? (I know he stayed on as a consultant, but still.)

I am not sure of the exact year, but at least in young wines I have seen no change.

I would say it's been 5-7 years. Not sure either.
