Tried this last night:
1. LouisM.Martini Cabernet Sauvignon SonomaCnty (13.6%) V&B by Louis M. Martini/St.Helena 2015: Very dark color; strong juicy/blackcurranty/Cab/grapey light vanilla/oak rather simple nose; fairly soft strong juicy/blackcurranty/Cab/grapey light vanilla/oak flavor w/ light smooth tannins; med.long soft/juicy/Cab/blackcurranty light vanilla/oak finish w/ light gentle tannins; speaks strongly of blackcurranty Cab but nothing else; an utterly boring wine w/ nothing distinctive to hang your hat; very much a commodity wine. $16.00 (SMP)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I was prompted to try this wine after the recent article on Louis Martini wines in 750Daily. This is the only one I could find locally. I'll try to search out a MonteRosso wine, but expect it'll be a lot more expensive.
I could only choke down about 2 glasses and became so bored that I went to my leftover blend of Drew Pinot. There was nothing wrong with this wine...it's just that it has no soul or interest. The Tammy Fae Bakker of the wine world.
The Vinted&Bttld on the label indicates it was made in some Gallo factory somewhere.
