I actually forgot a really nice Larmandier-Bernier “Terre de Vertus” that we started with, crisp and bright.
And I typed Chenes too many times- the d'Angerville was the Ducster! Corrected
And this wasn't too coordinated, despite attempts. To try and recreate:
P declared '02 Pousse Bousse
B declared 05 H Boillot Chevrets
S declared 05 H Boillot Caillerets
I declared '02 Pousse Clos d'Audignac (to match P) and the '15 Morey
R declared 98 d'Angerville Ducs
G declared 02 Pousse Caillerets
So since we had 3 02 Pousse I switched to 98 D'angerville Caillerets to match Ducs
D declared '96 D'angerville Champans
So 3 clear flights and 1 '96, with N undeclared...
Then on weekend I realized '98 Caillerets was at offsite, rather than make emergency trip offered the '98 Lafarge Chenes
then morning of N cancelled, S switched to 02 Bouchard Chenes, G switched to 02 F Gaunoux Chenes
And then D showed up with the '06 de Montille, somehow having grabbed wrong bottle
So coordinated this was not.
