WTN: a few CdP an a Rotie

2015 Bosquet des Papes.....Chante le Merles V. V. p-n-p... quite nice and more open than I expected with a balance of dark fruit but lots of funk eventually..............already showing lots of potential but needs 5-10 years yet but very enjoyable now

2016 Clos des Papes: I know, opened WAY to soon but could not resist even tho it had 7 hrs. decant...........more about black fruit that anything else...little/no secondary complexity but I have 5 more so will wait 5+ years

2016 Grand Venure "les Origines"; showing more complexity on the nose but still primary on the palate with lots of spice

2016 Rotie Cellars "Northern Blend " Wash State ..............this was a real HIT as was the last vintage with lots of smoothish Syrah flavors but also the viognier kicking in (5%) to give that added funky complexity. most likely will gain further complexity but delicious now

Bully Pulpit: (sorry Tom) it is obvious to me now that 2016 Chateauneuf du Papes are a bit (maybe very) muted now and need more (lots) time but I'm not sure I have that so will try to find a happy medium between
