2015 Bevan Cellars Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (7/17/2019)
Rich, ripe tropical fruit with spicy oak overlay - this is not in my wheelhouse, but there are days when it just hits the spot. This is one of those days.

LOL. I saw the picture on Facebook and didn't get the Cunningham joke. Do now!

Btw, I prefer their straight Sonoma, which is less overtly tropical than the Ritchie.

Having now had Ritchie from multiple producers, I can say it’s a site that does not make my style of wine.

I understand. You're not a Sauv Blanc fan so wouldn't have made the comparison, but Bevan makes SB from three different vineyards including Ritchie. The Ritchie's my least favorite--obviously a warmer site.
