2009 Domaine Bernard Baudry Chinon Les Grézeaux - France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Chinon (7/3/2019)
This is not “ready” but it is delicious, with ample red cherry fruit supported by tobacco and herb tones. There’s still some grippy tannin, but more than enough depth of fruit to handle it. Shows as classic a Loire Cab Franc as possible for a riper vintage, and I loved every sip of it.

My last bottle of that, perhaps a year ago, was really big with ripeness and almost extracted. Served it blind and it was guessed to be a new world ringer, albeit a wonderful one.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

I've managed to stop myself from drinking any of my 2007-2010 bottles I have (vintages, not bottles!) of the Grezeaux. Good to hear I can wait on the 2009 at least.
