WTN: And Duband played Waltzing Matilda

Drinking much better than my last bottle nearly three years ago. It’s showing some real nuance, and a hint of earthy/leafy complexity underneath its red fruit. Not the world’s most interesting Burgundy, but a very enjoyable, mid-weight drink that was fun to sip on while cooking, and was also a fine dinner companion.

Clever title

I ran into Duband a few times. Well made but usually not much beyond that, except for a Grand Cru Echezeaux, 2004
which was really grand and wonderful.

Well made but not much beyond that fits this wine well. I enjoyed it, but I would not go looking for it again.

Generally my reaction as well. But I've really liked some Clos de la Roche
