Aged: 18 mo. in Fr.oak; 46% Zin/14% Carignan/35% PetiteSirah + AlicanteBouschet/Cinsault/Peloursin + Vaccarese) 2017: Dark color; very strong classic DCVlly/raspberry/blackberry/Zin/very spicy light toasty/oak/smokey slight alcoholic very fragrant lovely nose; quite tart/tangy very strong raspberry/blackberry/Zin/quite spicy some dusty/OV some toasty/smokey/oak bit complex fairly bright/zippy very attractive flavor w/ some tangy/grippy tannins; very long/lingering quite tart/tangy bit lean/tight very strong raspberry/blackberry/very spicy Zin slight dusty/OV some toasty/oak finish w/ some grippy/angular tannins;not a profound Bedrock Zin and a bit tight/lean right now but a very classic DCVlly Zin; needs 2-5 yrs yet. $39.00
