2004 Parker Coonawarra Estate Terra Rossa First Growth Red Bordeaux Blend
Decanted, found no sediment, then served. No prior experience with this wine. Initial flavors of baked fruit, boullion and terra cotta clay were joined an hour later by just enough blue fruit to create a balanced mature cabernet that was obviously not old world but just as obviously not part of the new world--CA and WA--we live in/with regularly. Will hold here for years to come, might even have an interesting tertiary life ahead. Very interesting wine, needs beef!

I used to buy (and like) that wine. Have not seen it around in years.

I've never had it anywhere else; but I've owned this lot of four for about 10 years now and this is the first I've opened (she said, sounding like Bill Spohn). Was pretty pleased.
