2016 Dönnhoff Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Nahe (5/27/2019)
Bracing, pure and showing crystalline structure, this is an elegant and electrifying version of Hermannshohle. White peach and salty lime are layered atop a chilling mineral base that keeps the wine totally focused from first sip to last. The bright citrus element carries through to the finish, bringing refreshment, and compelling another sip. Impressive.
