Situated in the Languedoc Roussillon region, I had a brief chance to try this monster with the obliging rep. Will be priced around $20 Cdn on the shelf.

70% Syrah/30% Grenache and 1/3 new oak. The colour was a huge inky purple, very thin band on the rim. On the nose, plum, blackfruits, herbal, some funk and leather.
Very chewy palate w. blackberries, cranberry and chocolate. Full-bodied, still quite tannic, white pepper and intense extract. A winner for those who like a big red!!
