NV Caves des Hautes-Cotes Crémant de Bourgogne Victorine de Chastenay - France, Burgundy, Crémant de Bourgogne (4/20/2019)
Fresh, clean, apple and citrus fruit, with a nice mouthfeel, this is an excellent value in sparkling wine. The $16 price tag beats out pretty much anything in the range, and things that cost more. No idea if it would age at all, but who cares. Buy, drink, repeat.

On a wine tasting trip to Burgundy about 20 years ago, we had the luck to be in Savigny-les-Beaune during a weekend open cellar festival. One of the places we visited specialized in Cremant de Bourgogne. It was a revelation. Made from the same grapes, grown on the same limestone soil, using the same processes as Champagne, but without the price cachet that the C-word imparts. Good NV Cremant de Bourgogne will match or beat Champagne in quality, and certainly in price.
