I have a couple of these downstairs, so I wanted to check it out. I should've known better -the wine is as fresh as if it were bottled yesterday. The apple, kiwi, sweet poire william is only starting to absorb a little burning slate petroleum. Spicy minerals of Pistolen-Rauch greets marzipan and citronella. Within its youthful spritzy exuberance, there is an aristocratic elegance. The acidity is still sharp, so the weight gets focused like a battle-axe to the tongue. Fun to drink now, but not even close to done. 7,5% alc. $30
Prost!
