Shared this wine w/ Blair ystrday:
1. Dehlinger 60% PetiteSirah/40% Zin GuadagniBros.Vnyd/DryCreekVlly (15.0%) 2009: Very dark color w/ little bricking; strong Dehlinger/pencilly/Fr.oak strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/ripe/licorice/chocolate some complex nose; lightly tart strong pencilly/smokey/Dehlinger oak strong ripe/blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/spicy/bit licorice bit dried-out some complex flavor w/ modest drying/astringent tannins; long bit drying out/astringent strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/licorice rather pencilly/smokey/Dehlinger oak bit rustic/coarse finish w/ modest drying/astringent tannins; speaks mostly of Zin but the PS gives it a certain rough/coarse/rustic character; still a good robust Zin but starting to dry out; drink up. $30.00 (vBS)

1. This was a one-off wine from Dehlinger, though they made a straight PS from this vnyd in 2010. In its youth (2012), it was a beautiful big for DCV Zin. Though still good, it's starting its decline.
