Stumbled across this neat little paperback book over Christmas.
It's a very fascinating read, highly recommended. Each chaptre focuses on a certain aspect of food or drink: Hjemmebrent, Savory Poppy Crackers, Epoisses, Criadillas (Bull's Balls), Cohiba cigars, Absinthe, Chocolat Mousseux, Mate de Coca, Pentobarbital Sodium (very macabre chapter). Only thing missing is Durian.
Anyway...in interesting read that you can pick & choose your way thru.

Don't know but I did a google image search and came up with stills, moonshine containers, and I think a couple drunk people.

According to the book, it's some kind of Scandavian moonshine that deadly (sometimes) potent.
I'll post some tasting notes from the afterworld when I get a chance to try it.
