WTN: Bedrock Syrah Coast to Foothills '17...(short/boring)

Couldn't resist trying the "value" wine from the latest Bedrock arrival:
1. Bedrock Syrah Coast to Foothills Calif (14.1%; ShakeRidgeRanch + Hudson/Griffin'sLair/AlderSprings/Weill
vnyds; 20%-80% w-c; + Viog) 2017
: Dark color; very strong blackberry/Syrah/blueberry slight peppery/licorice/briary very light toasty/oak slight black pepper/c-c Syrah quite lovely aromatic nose; fairly tart very strong blackberry/boysenberry/Syrah/spicy light licorice/peppery/briary slight toasty/oak flavor w/ modest ripe tannins; very long strong blackberry/Syrah/blueberry/spicy/peppery lightly tart slight toasty/oak finish w/ light ripe tannins; not a profound Syrah but loads of spicy Syrah fruit w/o being jammy; quite drinkable now & should go out 5-6 yrs; great Syrah drinking at a stupid/silly price. $20.00

1. With most of Morgan's releases, he often includes some "value" wine...a wine you can reliably back up the truck on. Fortunately, our truck left the station loaded on this one. His OV Zin is always another such value.
I think the addition of AnnKramer's ShakeRidgeVnyd up in AmadorCnty is a new addition to what has been the NorthCoast Syrah. She grows great grapes across the board. The other 4 vnyds are no slouches either when it comes to quality grapes.
