Shared these two with John ystrday:
1. Carlisle Zin DryCreekVlly (15.9%; Plntd: 1885-1954; 25% PetiteSirah; 360 cs) 2004: Dark color w/ slight bricking; very strong blackberry/Zin/bit raspberry/spicy some fumey/alcoholic slght peppery/licorice big fruit nose; soft rich/lush very strong blackberry/Zin/raspberry/spicy some hot/alcoholic/very ripe bit licorice slight tangy/metallic/drying flavor w/ light smooth tannins; very long some hot/alcoholic/very ripe strong blackberry/Zin/licorice/bit peppery bit tangy/metallic finish w/ light smooth/ripe tannins; still loads of ripe Zin fruit & tannins fully resolved but alcohol coming to the forefront and tangy/metallic suggests it's not going to get any better; quite a lovely mature Zin.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I was really impressed by the Syrah. It had some c-c/black pepper character that suggested there was some BennettVlly Syrah in it.
