NV Sean Thackrey Pleiades XXV Old Vines - USA, California (7/25/2018)
Dusty, brushy, bright cherry aromas are supplemented by earth and leather on the palate. Lightly colored, medium bodied on the palate and thankfully under 14% alcohol (barely), this feels like a close cousin to Steve Edmunds' Rocks & Gravel bottling, and a sort of ur-American wine.

Used to buy the Pleiades every vintage, then got away from it as my usual source dried up. No two vintages were ever alike, but they were all good and that was part of the intrigue. Yours, more red-fruited and earthy, sounds like the ones I loved best.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
